My inspiration came from life experience as well as not having enough support available for those that love and care for an addict. My aim is to get more support out there to enable others to live the life they deserve.

Who are Demelza and how do you support them?

Demelza is a children Hospice, helping those who may not live along life, to live a full life.

They provide specialist care and emotional support for children with serious or terminal conditions and their loved ones.

I help support them by donating 10% for every paperback book I sell plus try and aid when Demelza are doing money-raising events.

What is NLP and how can it help me?

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is the practice of understanding how people organise their thinking, feeling, language and behaviour to produce the results we get.

NLP is a way of changing someone’s thoughts and behaviours to help achieve desired outcomes for them, using coaching techniques.

What is Time Line Therapy?

Time Line Therapy (TLT) uses your individual own internal “Time Line” by working with your unconscious mind in a number of ways which includes healing emotional traumas and eliminating unwanted thoughts, emotions and behaviours (hypnosis) in minutes rather than days, months or years.

How can I start living the life I deserve?

Learning how to deal with reality is the most important first step in “surviving” when you love an addict and or an abusive person. Although it may seem easier to stay in the “fantasy space” where you can continue to believe that things are going to magically get better, there is no such magic. Things will not get better just because you wish they would.

Whatever your particular situation is, acceptance of what you are dealing with in your life is the first survival tip for loving an addicted person.

I have a constant gnawing worry that I live with every day. What can I do?

If this situation is just beginning for you, it is best to get some support as soon as possible, so that you don’t make the mistakes that could make things more difficult.

The sooner you reach out for help, the better it is for everyone concerned.
